WOO HOO - 3 star Review “Lost in Blue”
July 31st, 2009The Advertiser 31st July Music (scene) Reviewer: Sam Kelton: - LOCAL country act the Texettes, on their fourth release, may have just hit upon the perfect balance of pop and twang. With a muster of different influences surfacing, such as the pop strums of the Electric Light Orchestra’s Jeff Lynne or the loving croon of Roy Orbison, the Texettes have put forward a well-produced and catchy record. Terry Bradford and Helen Ellis’s intertwining vocals make for an enjoyable local delicacy, best enjoyed on a rainy weekend, taking the listener out of Adelaide to touch down in Nashville, where the heart of Lost in Blue lies.
